 Lawyers' Committee Releases Report
on Judicial Diversity September 1, 2009 The Lawyers' Committee is pleased to present Improving Diversity on the State Courts: A Report from the Bench. This report was predicated on the premise that diversity is essential to helping our judiciary deliver equal justice. We thank all of our judges, funders and partners in this dynamic, collaborative effort, which made this project possible. The report offers groundbreaking analysis on the successes and failures of the appointment versus electoral method and their respective influences on diversity in state courts.
